This issue revolves around the singular question of, why New York? What’s so great about a city that will chew you up and spit you out without blinking an eye? Why do queer people--in particular--keep coming to the city? Through conversations with queer natives and transplants, creatives, artists, and one fag hag, we explore the queer relationship to the city, pondering the essential question: why New York?
